It’s all boiling up inside… like a cauldron… about to erupt… sinister. With background music building the suspense…

For now, I am just a human. Maybe some time I will be more.

Spring!

A welcome wave of warmer air,
Briskly blowing through my hair.
Happy hints of what’s to come,
Sure signs of summer sun.

Clear and cloudless is the sky,
Singing songbirds catch my eye.
Never a notion of unwelcome spring,
Positivity plagues as the year does begin…

New

I’m feeling something fresh and new,
That hasn’t yet begun.
The idea of a new found place,
With laughter, smiles and fun.

The feeling when you journey,
To somewhere new but yet,
A familiar breeze does kiss your skin,
A warmth I’ll not forget.

Take me there, oh take me now,
I’m raring and ready to go.
Let’s move along the conveyor belt
And start this fun filled show!

30

It’s young to some,
But new to me.
Getting used to my age,
Beginning with three.

Celebrating with family,
And with friends.
This tasty booze,
Is a means to an end.

Drink and drink,
And then some more.
Until my brain,
Has hit the floor.

The following day,
Feeling rough.
I think my liver,
Has had enough.

I say to myself,
Never again.
I really don’t,
Enjoy this pain.

Some hours pass,
My body crawls,
Out from the cave,
Of drunken fools.

I begin to feel,
Once more like me.
A sigh of relief,
If a little sleepy.

I now look back,
Upon that night.
I partied in style,
That much is right.

I’m feeling good,
Forever young,
For age is just,
Another rung.
